We have just posted a number of new events for August and September to our website. Here’s a preview of what’s coming up:
- Monthly Expert Series call on Wednesday August 18(9am Pacific; 12 noon Eastern) features Jill Konrath, best-selling author of Selling to Big Companies and her newest , SNAP Selling, released just last May, about how to sell to “crazy busy” executives. Jill’s topic is “Speeding Up Your Sales Process.” This is a do-not-miss presentation for entrepreneurs and small business leaders who do and/or want to do big deals with bigger customers. As always, there is no registration fee for The Whale Hunters Expert Series (although long distance charges may apply) but you must register to join the call.
- The Whale Hunters CEO Margie Traylor joins our new Certified Partners Valerie and Bob Bonebrake in Kansas City for The Whale Hunters Preview Events on August 26. A lunchtime event is at The Capital Grille Kansas City MO. and a cocktail event is at The Central Exchange Kansas City, MO. You need to register and there is a fee to cover the cost of food and beverage. Space is limited at these events, so be sure to register early.
- The September Expert Series call features Greg Chapman on the topic of “How Whales Think.” Greg is president of Sitewire Interactive Marketing and has more than 30 years of experience in retail sales and marketing, mostly in big companies. Greg has a completely unique perspective on this topic that you will rarely experience–he was a Vice President at Sears when Sitewire closed a big deal with Sears on its very first whale hunt. I’ll talk to him about why in that position he chose to do business with a small company (what they did right), what it took for him internally to get buy-in on that kind of decision, and how he puts his “whale” experience to work now that he is leading a whale-hunting company himself. You won’t want to miss it!
